MS Dhoni was born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi Jharkhand, he comes from a middle-class family, and Dhoni has been a very successful captain of the Indian cricket team.

Dhoni was known as an extraordinary cricketer in the early days of his cricket, but after some time he won many champion trophies for India, Dhoni is known to be one of the calmest captains on the cricket field. Under his captaincy, India won the 2007 World Cup Twenty Event, 2007-08 Commonwealth Bank Series, 2011 Cricket World Cup, and Champion Trophy.

Dhoni has also received many awards such as ICC ODI Player of the Year in 2008, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award and India’s fourth highest civilian award, and Padma Shri Award in 2009.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand, his father’s name is Pan Singh and his mother’s name is Devki Devi, his father worked in the junior management class of Macon Company, and his mother is a housewife.

 He did his studies in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Of course, after studying, he also worked for some time but Left the job and went to cricket for some time.

Before getting married to his schoolmate Sakshi Singh Rawat, MS Dhoni fell in love with Priyanka Jha, whom he met in his early 20s. This happened in the year 2002 when Dhoni was working hard to be selected for the Indian team. Unfortunately, that same year, his girlfriend passed away in an accident. Afterward, Dhoni also had a relationship with a South Indian actress named Lakshmi Rai.

In 1998, MS Dhoni got chosen to play for the Central Coal Fields Limited( CCL) team. Before that, he played justice for his academe and club. Whenever Dhoni hit a six during the Sheesh Mahal event matches, Deval Sahay, who picked him for CCL, would give him Rs 50 as a gift.

MS Dhoni’s outstanding performance helped CCL move up to the A division. Deval Sahay was impressed by Dhoni’s dedication and justice chops, so he pushed for his selection in the Bihar team.

At the age of 18, Dhoni got named for the senior Bihar Ranji Team for the 1999- 2000 season. still, he wasn’t chosen for the East ZoneU- 19 platoon( CK Nayudu Jewel) or the Rest of India team( MA Chidambaram Jewel and Vinoo Mankad Jewel).

The Bihar Under-19 team reached the finals, but unfortunately, they didn’t win. After that, MS Dhoni was chosen to play for the East Zone Under-19 team in the CK Nayudu Trophy. Although the East Zone team lost all their matches, Dhoni managed to finish the tournament.

During the 2002-2003 season, Dhoni played for the Jharkhand team in the Ranji Trophy and Deodhar Trophy. He gained recognition not only for his contributions as a lower-order player but also for his powerful batting style.

In the finals of the Duleep Trophy, Dhoni was selected to represent the East Zone, even surpassing established international cricketer Deep Dasgupta.

Dhoni’s talent was discovered through the TRDW (BCCI’s grassroots talent identification program) when Prakash Poddar, former captain of Bengal in the 1960s, sent a report to the National Cricket Academy.

Dhoni was then selected to play for India A on a tour of Zimbabwe and Kenya. In a match against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club, Dhoni took 7 catches and made 4 stumpings.

During a tri-nation tournament involving Kenya, India A, and Pakistan A, Dhoni played a crucial role in helping the Indian team chase down a target of 223 runs against Pakistan.

He scored 362 runs in 6 innings with an impressive average of 72.40. His outstanding performance caught the attention of the Indian Cricket Team’s captain at that time, Sourav Ganguly, as well as Ravi Shastri and others.

In 2007, M.S. Dhoni faced a problem when 40 people in his neighborhood complained to the Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA). They said that Dhoni was using 15,000 liters of water every day for his swimming pool, which was causing a serious water shortage in the area.
